{"id":767,"date":"2015-11-30T17:19:26","date_gmt":"2015-11-30T16:19:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.alacarte-events.com\/notre-histoire\/?lang=en"},"modified":"2025-01-29T18:16:59","modified_gmt":"2025-01-29T17:16:59","slug":"our-history","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.alacarte-events.com\/en\/our-history\/","title":{"rendered":"Our history"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>We&#8217;ve known each other professionally for over 20 years.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Our trust is mutual,<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Our inspirations are often the same, our approaches sometimes different,<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The exchange is permanent,<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>We each work in our own region, and meet frequently for customer meetings and, of course, events.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For our events agency, it is necessary to constantly re-invent ourselves, to \u201cthink outside the box\u201d at the request of our customers due to :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>l\u2019uniformaccelerating pace,<\/li>\n<li>standardization of products and services (companies are finding it difficult to differentiate themselves in the face of an overabundance of products, with both internal and external challenges).<\/li>\n<li>standardization of supply and demand (packages, tour operators, \u201cgoogleization\u201d),<\/li>\n<li>crisis of confidence (shifting national and international context),<\/li>\n<li>the dehumanization of relations with customers and suppliers (customers are \u201ccoded\u201d, as are employees; relations are based on e-mail exchanges, with no real face-to-face encounters),<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This observation and these values echo what we have always sensed in our respective careers, working alongside our customers.<\/p>\n<p>Our events agency has always respected and applied these convictions in the design of our events, and it&#8217;s in a true spirit of \u201cpartnership\u201d and \u201cfriendship\u201d that we work with them in complete confidence.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s more &#8211; After a spell with Christian Constant in Paris, he moved on to the Centre International de Deauville (CID), where he worked with Nathalie Garcia, now Director of Deauville Tourism.<\/p>\n<p>Thierry PIC joined the team of a major Parisian business tourism agency as Account Manager, managing all types of events in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and luxury sectors. She opened her first book on Chinese medicine over 25 years ago, but life meant she had to put it aside.<\/p>\n<p>Caroline reopened her practice 7 years ago, following a lengthy 2-year training course in shiatsu and 4 years in Chinese medicine (acupuncture, pharmacopoeia and moxibustion), with two clinic internships in Shanghai.<\/p>\n<p>Since the beginning of 2016, Caroline has graduated and officially opened her practice under the name FO SHOU (Buddha&#8217;s hands, also the name of a Chinese pharmacopoeia)&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Another way of caring for others&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve known each other professionally for over 20 years.
